The Holy Spirit: Who is He?
John 20:21-22 “Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." And with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."

When Jesus appeared to the disciples, after His resurrection, He did something very significant. Jesus breathed on them and they were filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a vital part of our everyday life. He is the one who we communicate with everyday.
You see, God the Father and Jesus, His Son, are in Heaven, but we are not alone because the Spirit of God is here with us. When we pray, we pray to God, but the Holy Spirit takes our prayers to the throne room of Heaven. Then Jesus, sitting at the right hand of the Father, brings our prayers before God and pleads our case. Since God only sees us through the blood of Jesus, He then decides whether it is time for our prayers to be answered.
The Holy Spirit is the One we often communicate with or we feel stirring inside of us. Too many times, people will say, “Jesus is right here in the room with us.” The truth is His Spirit is in the room with us because Jesus can only be at one place at one time, but His Spirit can be anywhere at any time. The Holy Spirit can be healing the sick in Africa, raising the dead in Japan, and anointing someone in New York all at the same time.
The scriptures call him our Counselor. He is always there leading the way for us. He desires to be a part of our everyday life. He was created to live inside of us. When we ask Jesus into our heart, the Holy Spirit comes in with Him. It is then our responsibility to allow Him to work in our life. He is always pulling at our heart to walk with Him and talk with Him, but so few actually do.
I pray right now that the Lord reveals this to you very clearly. That your eyes are open to the truth of His Spirit and how He works in and through us. In Jesus name, I pray that the Holy Spirit be loosed in your life in a new and empowering way, and that you learn and grow with Him every day until Jesus returns for us.

Doubt and Fear: Part 2
Luke 12:32 "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.”

Fear is something we often hear about in our world. Today, we have a lot to be fearful of. I have discovered that fear is built off of doubt. We always have doubtful thoughts enter our minds because our mind is a constant battlefield, but we must choose whether to accept the thoughts or reject them. When we do not reject those doubtful thoughts, they become fear in our lives. Fear is defined as an idea, thought, or other entity that causes feelings of fear. When we begin to fear, we begin to doubt what God’s word says, and then we become double minded. James 1:8 says a double-minded man is “unstable in all of his ways.” When we become double-minded, we cannot take complete hold of the truth because we are swayed in our way of thinking.

If you are battling fear, then you must understand that only great things are ahead of you! Now that you have discovered the fear in your life, you can overcome it. Bind up the fear every time it interrupts your day. Don’t stand around and allow the enemy to beat you up with your fear, and do not allow the fear to dwell in your mind. Instead, stand your ground and fight the good fight. You are an over comer and victorious through Jesus Christ.

Mark 11:22 "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. Faith is all it takes to overcome fear. Once you begin to practice your faith, your fears don’t seem as bad. Continue to stay positive and know the Lord will work the whole situation out then the fear will leave.
I pray right now, in Jesus name, every doubt and fear will leave your mind and your heart. I pray that you become the over comer, and that you speak words of life every time you have a doubt or fear in your life. In Jesus name, I claim a pure mind and a pure heart.

Doubt and Fear: Part 1

Matthew 14:31 “Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. ‘You of little faith,’ he said, ‘why did you doubt?’”
Doubt is something we battle many more times than we realize. We have doubtful or negative thoughts everyday of our lives. The dictionary defines doubt as, to feel unconvinced or uncertain about something, or think that something is unlikely. Doubt enters our life when Satan comes to us and says, “You are not good enough for this,” or “You will fail at this.” Once he has put those thoughts there, we can either choose to believe them or rebuke them in Jesus name.
The good news is once we rebuke the enemy in Jesus name, those doubtful thoughts must flee. We are to be walking in the Kingdom of God everyday of our life. When we allow doubt to enter our mind it takes over and we begin to stop trusting in the Holy Spirit. We must trust Him. If we believe in Jesus, we have eternal life. We can have the blessings of God through Jesus. Doubt is not a blessing of God. It is a curse from Satan that is planted in our minds to steal from us. Thank the Lord Jesus we can stand when the enemy comes at us.
I pray that you can withstand every doubtful thought that comes at you this week. I pray in Jesus name that the Holy Spirit teaches you to fight those doubtful thoughts and walk through them victoriously. In Jesus name, every time doubt even crosses your mind, you will be reminded that you have the authority to tell the enemy NO!

Belief Matters

Belief. What is it? Why is it important? Our belief in things defines who we are. If we serve Jesus and follow Him with a pure heart, then we are defined with our identity in Christ. We must place our belief in Christ. I am a prime example that God is the same healer today that He was in Jesus' time. If people will only open their heart to it, God will do the miracles. We have a “watered down” version of the Gospel today. People have become so programmed to the worldly way that they will not believe the truth of the Gospel. This is exactly what happened to me. My prayer is that you begin to believe, and ask the Lord to help your unbelief.
I do not disregard medical advice, but I believe the Lord is our healer. I believe that medical care is important. If He tells us to go to the doctor, then we go. We must listen to His voice and then choose. God uses doctors and He uses surgery. We must be open to medical help, but we should go to God first. We must listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. If we believe in Jesus, the Holy Spirit is always speaking to us. He wants us to listen to Him and talk back.
The mind of Christ says our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. He needs to dwell in it. When he does, cancer gets pushed out. Our purpose should be to walk in the presence of the Holy Spirit, and to care for our bodies as the temple of the Holy Spirit.
We get so programmed with the world's way of thinking that we cannot easily believe in healing. What works is to get so saturated with Jesus and so far away from the world that you know that you know you are healed. Unless God has told you that it is your time to die, you should know that you are healed.
I pray that you belief in your heart the importance of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Belief what the Holy Spirit is speaking to you. Believe and then pick up your healing and walk in it.

Blessings,
Delores

The Centrality of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is my life. He should be the center of all of our lives. We should know Him better than we know anyone. Jesus sent Him to be with us always, to lead us, guide us, and use us. Without Him we are trying to live our lives by ourselves, without hope. We keep Him in the guest room of our heart. We must bring Him out of the guest room, into the living room. We are not to do anything with Him, but we are to let Him do with us as He decides. Anything can happen. But we have to surrender totally to the Lordship of Jesus.
In practical terms it means I can't live without Him. In the beginning of the ministry the Lord would say to me, “Remember you can't lift a finger without me.” Today, I say, “Jesus, You are my whole life. You lead me and guide me and direct me. Take me where You want me to go. Use me.” This does not mean He takes you out of your life. You are still in the same place, but He is foremost in your mind and your thinking and your awareness. It is very important for you to catch the vision to minister, to have the gifts in operation wherever you are, whatever you are doing in your daily life.
You must minister wherever the Lord calls you. He is calling for you to minister all the time in every area of your life by just being a light for Jesus.

Blessing in Him,
Delores
